A huge amount of work goes into collating this website
and keeping it up to date. We welcome links to the
site which help us spread the word of what is already
the internet resource for Worldwide Balloon events
listing.
However, we have had one or two circumstances where
the information on this site has been copied directly
onto a third party site. We have digital encryption
methods which can prove the information has been copied.
This is considered ipr theft and will be dealt with
appropriately. As it can take many months to conclude
an allegation of ipr theft we now make it clear in
advance the following charges which we apply to ipr
use of this site.
This effectively means you now have permission to
copy and paste into your site, however by doing this
you accept our charge for this which is £5,000+VAT
sterling. There is also a further charge of £500+VAT
per month or part thereof, backdated where necessary,
covering the entire time the information remains on
a third party site. These costs refer to each inscription
onto a website.
For clarity, if the information appears on two separate
pages on one site the charge is £10,000+VAT
plus £1,000 for each month or part thereof where
the information is displayed. If the information is
displayed once but on three separate U.R.Ls the charge
would be £15,000+VAT plus £1,500 for each
month or part thereof the information is displayed.
We will vigorously defend the ipr on this site through
the courts where necessary to recover these costs
which are deemed reasonable and reflect the work involved
in collation and publication. Please do not steal
this site.
